The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), United International University (UIU), successfully organized a capacity-building workshop titled “Designing Events with Purpose: A Guide to SDG Integration” on 15th January, 2026 to enhance participants’ understanding of incorporating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the planning and execution of university events and initiatives.
The workshop aimed to equip faculty members, officers, and relevant stakeholders with practical strategies for aligning institutional activities with the SDGs, thereby promoting sustainability, social responsibility, and quality enhancement across the university. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, participants explored effective approaches to designing purposeful events that contribute to national and global sustainable development priorities while strengthening UIU’s commitment to quality assurance and institutional excellence.
This initiative reflects IQAC’s ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and sustainability at UIU by encouraging the integration of the SDGs into academic, administrative, and co-curricular activities, ultimately supporting the university’s mission of creating meaningful and lasting societal impact.
