A delegation from United International University (UIU) visited the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) to conduct a strategic meeting and formally submit the Intent to Apply (ITA) for accreditation on 29 September, 2026.
The delegation team consisted of Dr. Mofijul Hoq Masum, FCMA, Director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Mr. Jakowan, Deputy Director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), the Head of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Dr. Suman Ahmmed and the Director of Office of Strategic Communication, Mr. Abu Sadat Md. Mostansirbilla, of UIU.
During the visit, the delegation engaged in a productive discussion with the Chairman Prof. Dr. Md. Akhter Hossain Khan and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Jamal, Full time Member (External Affairs & ICT) of BAC regarding the accreditation process, requirements, and the necessary steps towards initiating accreditation for the identified programs.
The submission of the Intent to Apply marks an important step in UIU’s continued commitment to academic quality, continuous improvement, outcome-based education, and alignment with national quality assurance standards. Through this initiative, UIU reaffirms its commitment to strengthening its academic programs and fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and excellence across the University.
